Every Palm Trees and Floaties stay is dog friendly. Not just one unit: all four of our homes welcome one dog per stay, with a $75 pet fee per reservation. Just tell us about your pup when you book.

Why dog owners love Palm Desert
- Dog parks: the fenced Civic Center Dog Park sits inside Civic Center Park, with shady lawns and walking paths for you too. University Dog Park is another fenced option in north Palm Desert.
- El Paseo: leashed dogs are welcome on the sidewalks, and you’ll often spot water bowls outside the shops.
- Patios: lots of local restaurants welcome leashed dogs on their outdoor patios. Just ask when you arrive.
- Sunny winters: from fall through spring, the weather is perfect for long walks.
Good to know
- One dog per stay, with a $75 pet fee per reservation.
- Summer heat: from May through September, walk early and late, and test the pavement with your hand. If it’s too hot for you, it’s too hot for paws.
- Trails: dogs aren’t allowed on many local mountain trails or in the Indian Canyons, so check before you go.
- Festivals: dogs can’t go into Coachella or Stagecoach, so plan for a sitter during festival hours.
