Why stay in Palm Desert
Indio gets packed and pricey during the festivals. Palm Desert is about 20 to 25 minutes away and a lot calmer. You get a real pool to recover by, a quiet place to sleep, and El Paseo’s restaurants close by for a nice dinner between weekends.
Getting to the festival
- Festival shuttle: our condos are about a 5 minute walk from a festival shuttle stop. Buy a shuttle pass with your ticket and skip the parking lots.
- Driving: about 20 to 25 minutes without traffic. Festival traffic can easily double that.
- Rideshare: there’s a drop off area at the grounds, but expect surge pricing after the last set.
Pick your stay
- The House: an original midcentury home with a private saltwater pool and jacuzzi. Sleeps 4.
- The Pink Condo: poolside with two queen beds. Sleeps 4.
- The Yellow Condo: a king bed and a balcony, near the heated pool. Sleeps 2.
- The Blue Condo: a midcentury king suite close to the shuttle. Sleeps 2.
Coming with friends? Book two or three condos side by side and share the pool.
Festival weekend tips
- Hydrate. Bring sunscreen, a hat and a refillable bottle.
- Plan a pool day between weekends to recover.
- Bring your pup? Dogs can’t go to the festival, so plan for a sitter while you’re out.
