College of the Desert Street Fair
The Street Fair at College of the Desert has been a Palm Desert weekend tradition for more than 40 years. It’s a big open air market with local makers, farmers and vendors, all set against mountain views.
You’ll find handmade jewelry, art, clothing, home goods, fresh produce, flowers and plenty of snacks. It’s a fun, easy morning outing and a great place to pick up gifts.

- When: Saturdays and Sundays, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Summer hours can change, so check before you go.
- Drive from our stays: about 10 minutes
- Parking: free on site
- Bring cash for smaller vendors, plus a reusable bag
- Go early for the best produce and cooler temps
Our tip: grab fresh fruit, flowers and snacks for a lazy afternoon by the pool.
