PGA WEST Private Clubhouse & Golf Courses
Golfers, this one’s for you. PGA WEST in La Quinta is home to the Pete Dye Stadium Course, one of the toughest and most famous courses in the country. The par 3 17th, known as Alcatraz, has an island green that has humbled the pros.
The Stadium Course is part of The American Express PGA TOUR event every January, so you can play where the pros play. The mountain views alone are worth the green fee.
Good to know
- Drive from our stays: about 25 minutes
- Book ahead. Tee times fill fast from January through April.
- Play early in the warmer months. Twilight rates are a nice deal in spring and fall.
- Dress code applies, so pack collared shirts.
More golf: the desert has more than 100 courses. Ask us when you book and we’ll point you to a few local favorites closer to home.
